The ACHS is pleased to announce the inaugural recipients of the Society’s research travel grant.   

Dr. Ramon Luzarraga (pictured), associate professor of Theology and Religious Studies at St. Martin’s University (Lacey, WA), will be using the Redemptorist Archives to study Redemptorist missions in the Caribbean as part of a larger project on Global Catholicism.   

Ms. Meave Sheehan, an independent scholar, will visiting the Athenaeum of Philadelphia to conduct research on artist Nicola D’Ascenzo, one of the nation’s foremost stained glass artists of the first half of the twentieth century.
