Join us for the opening of our newest exhibit, That ’70s Catholicism. Focusing on developments in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, the exhibit explores the critical decade shaped by the currents of Vatican II and capped by the election of Pope John Paul II and the new era his papacy helped usher in. We invite members and friends to come view the exhibit and stay for a lecture by its curator, Dr. Thomas Rzeznik

Dr. Thomas Rzeznik is associate professor of history at Seton Hall University. He serves on the Board of Managers of the ACHS and is co-editor of the Society’s journal, American Catholic Studies. He is author of Church and Estate: Religion and Wealth in Industrial Era Phialdelphia (Penn State Press, 2013) and co-editor with Margaret M. McGuinness of the Cambridge Companion to American Catholicism (Cambridge University Press, 2021).
