James D. and Jacqueline J. Delaney

James and Jacqueline Delaney have dedicated their adult lives to living their faith as a Man and Woman for Others. This very Jesuit core value embodied the familial and public life of this couple and parents of three children named James, Maureen and Andrew.

Jim pursued a successful career in health care and fi nancial services, most notably as founder, president and CEO of J.G. Wentworth Company and later a senior advisor, Vendor Assistance Program LLC and senior advisor to Humanity Corp. Jacki completed her degree and prepared for a careerin banking while raising their children. After the children were in college or having graduated Jim and Jacki set their path to outreach to mostly faith based programs.

Jim is a member of the National Advisory Council of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, a member of National Advisory Board of the Church Leadership Institute, a Board Member of the National Catholic Community Foundation, a Board Member of the Catholic Philopatrian Literary Institute, and a Board Member of Catholic Athletes for Christ. He is also the former Chairman of the Board at Neumann University, and Trustee and Treasurer and Chair of Finance and Audit Committee of Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.

Jacki has been Chair of the very successful annual Archbishop’s Benefit for Children since 2008. She is a Member of the Catholic Leadership Institute’s National Advisory Board, a Board Member of Philadelphia’s Catholic Social Services and its Community Based Services Committee; Vice Chair of the Board of Directors and Co-Chair of the Spirituality Development Committee of Malvern Retreat House, and Secretary of the Philadelphia Chapter of Legatus.

In addition to being involved in other secular and religious organizations, both Jim and Jacki were awarded Honorary Doctorates of Humanities from Neumann University in 2017. This couple has demonstrated they are truly a Man and Woman for Others and they diligently work together Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam, that is for the greater honor and glory of God.
